All items sold are created with use of the sewing machine. Many pieces have machine applique using the satin stitch. I do most of the quilting on machine. Bindings are first sewn on by machine and the final turn over edge is hand sewn with stitches hidden. Any item with hand quilting will be marked and priced accordingly. Items are made with cotton fabrics. The center batting mostly cotton. The backings are usually of plain muslin since that is not seen. Runners have a center batting and are very thin polyester. Backings of runners are a coordinating fabric, some times a seasonal theme so they can be used on either side.
